GTM Sales Operations Manager
Role Overview
The GTM Sales Operations Manager is a strategic partner to Sales, designed to bridge sales strategy and day-to-day execution through process, technology, and data. This role acts as the right hand to Sales leadership and reps across segments, with a strong focus on supporting and scaling the Outbound Sales motion.
You will identify process gaps, design short- and long-term sales operations roadmaps, manage and optimize the sales technology stack, and drive adoption of tools and methodologies. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Enablement, you will ensure GTM systems and workflows are tightly integrated to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
This role suits someone who brings structure without slowing teams down, thinks technically about business problems, and enjoys using tools, automation, and data to improve sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a strategic partner to Sales, identifying process gaps and designing scalable solutions
• Own and optimize the sales technology stack in alignment with GTM strategy
• Manage lead assignment and routing with high accuracy and operational rigor
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve sales workflows, methodology, and technology adoption
• Identify, implement, and track process and technology improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure strong adoption, training, and usage of tools
• Monitor and analyze sales operations metrics to identify trends, forecast needs, and improve funnel velocity
• Design and test new tactics such as AI-driven workflows, automation, and pilot programs
• Track and report on key metrics to measure impact on revenue and customer experience
• Stay current on emerging sales and GTM technologies
Required Experience & Skills
• 6+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales roles, ideally in SaaS
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially in data-heavy operational tasks like lead management
• Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices
• Hands-on experience managing CRMs and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Qualified, ChiliPiper, lead routing tools)
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong project management ability in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Bonus / Highly Preferred
• Experience building and automating GTM data workflows using tools such as Clay, Clearbit, Census, or similar
• Background as a GTM Engineer or Growth Operations Specialist
• Comfort working with advanced automation, orchestration, and AI-enabled sales workflows
